The International Glass and Visual Arts Research Centre (Cirva), a contemporary art centre specialized in glasswork, recruits a glass technician (assistant blower). 6-month contract, possibly renewable. 35 h / week, adjustable over the year.

Call for a residency

The Cirva launches a call for a residency in 2017-2018, intended to a visual artist

The Cirva (International Glass and Visual Arts Research Centre) is a contemporary art centre located in Marseilles, France.
It is dedicated to research, development and production, and is equipped with an impressive range of glass working equipment, allowing the creation of one-off pieces and small series. Established in 1983, the centre welcomes artists who wish to use glass in innovative projects.
Through this residency, the Cirva aims to further develop its mission as a centre of art and production dedicated to international contemporary creation, whilst supporting artists in all stages of their work, from research to exhibition.

Toute l'équipe du Cirva vous présente ses meilleurs vœux pour 2017 !

Au programme pour cette nouvelle année :
- poursuite des résidences de Pernelle Poyet, Francisco Tropa et Evariste Richer ;
- démarrage des résidences de Roman Ondák et Jonah Takagi ;
- exposition « Une maison de verre - Le Cirva, Centre international de recherche sur le verre et les arts plastiques » au musée Cantini, Marseille, du 17 mars au 24 septembre 2017 ;
- 3 journées portes ouvertes du Cirva pour tous publics : 31 mars, 26 mai et 16 septembre ;
- un nouveau site internet mis en ligne au premier trimestre 2017, grâce au soutien du fonds de dotation Arsians ;
